Child Safety Standards Policy
At Weduc UK Limited, the safety and well-being of children is our top priority. We are committed to maintaining a secure, positive, and child-friendly environment across all our platforms and services. In line with Google’s Child Safety Standards, we have established the following policy to protect children from exploitation, abuse, and inappropriate content.
1. Prohibited Content
We strictly prohibit the following content across all our platforms:
- Sexual Abuse Material: Any content, including images, videos, or texts, that sexually exploits or abuses children is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any attempt to create, promote, or distribute such content.
- Inappropriate Content for Children: Any content that is sexually suggestive, violent, or inappropriate for children is prohibited. We do not allow content that attempts to corrupt or harm minors in any way.
- Child Endangerment: We do not tolerate content that facilitates the trafficking, abuse, or exploitation of children in any form. This includes content that normalizes or glamorizes harmful behavior towards children.
2. User Interactions and Safety
To safeguard children interacting with our services, we enforce the following:
- Age-Appropriate Content: We ensure that content available to children is appropriate for their age and developmental stage, removing any that may contain inappropriate content or messaging. The ReachMoreParents platform does not allow ads to be shown to children.
- Parental Controls: We encourage the use of controls to help manage the types of content children can access.
- Safe Interactions: We discourage direct interactions between adults and children on our platform. We encourage reporting to prevent inappropriate messaging, bullying, or harassment.
3. Data Privacy and Security
We are dedicated to protecting the personal data and privacy of children who use our services:
- Data Collection: We comply with all relevant child data protection laws as outlined in UK GDPR.
- Minimal Data Collection: We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without parental consent. Any data collected will be limited to the minimum necessary to provide our services safely and effectively.
- Data Sharing: We do not share children’s personal data with third parties for any purposes, including advertising or marketing, without explicit parental consent.
4. Reporting and Response
We provide mechanisms for reporting any content, behaviour, or activities that may threaten child safety:
- Reporting Tools: We offer accessible tools for users to report any content or conduct that may harm children. All reports are treated with urgency, and we are committed to promptly investigating and taking appropriate action, including removing content, banning users, or reporting to legal authorities.
- Law Enforcement Cooperation: We fully cooperate with local and international law enforcement agencies when child safety violations are reported on our platforms, including providing information to authorities where required by law.
5. Moderation and Enforcement
We use a combination of technology and human review to ensure that our platform is free from content or behaviour that could harm children:
- Content Reporting: We provide tools for content review and reporting enabling schools to implement their own moderation systems.
- Human Review: Our moderation team reviews flagged content and user interactions to ensure compliance with our Child Safety Standards.
- Account Suspension: Any user found to be in violation of our Child Safety Standards will face immediate suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
6. Education and Awareness
We are committed to raising awareness about child safety and responsible internet usage:
- User Training: Our users are encouraged to regularly review our safety guidelines and best practices for ensuring a safe online experience for children.
